Our solar project has faced challenges due to the farm’s remote location, with vendors either reluctant to travel or charging high prices. Despite these obstacles, bringing electricity to the farm is essential to power household items, like a refrigerator, and farming equipment. Electricity has greatly improved lives and will boost the farm’s progress..
Digital Access
Digital access is critical for progress. With a reliable internet connection, we are opening the door to new opportunities, such as virtual tutoring for students and exploring the possibilities of offering Telehealth services to the community. This connection will enhance education, provide valuable resources, and improve healthcare access for the community.
Watershed Restoration
One of our key projects is restoring a vital watershed in Culion, Palawan, by constructing cascading ponds, small dams, and deep wells. Right now, due to severe drought conditions, families must travel long distances by boat just to collect safe drinking water from other islands—a huge burden that impacts everyday life.
