Our Initiatives
Transforming lives through impactful initiatives that empower communities and inspire change.

At WE Foundation, we believe in creating pathways to progress that honor traditions of the katutubo while opening doors to new possibilities. Through our projects, we’re working to provide the education, training, resources, and infrastructure needed to empower these communities and promote lasting change.
By supporting our projects, you’re helping to create sustainable change for the katutubo, fostering hope and opportunity for future generations.
Supporting the Self-Reliant Farm Program
Fr. John Nguyen's vision and program for the Self-Reliant Farm Program is built on the belief that isolated communities can thrive through education, service, and sustainable opportunity. We are helping turn that vision into reality in Culion.

Education and Scholarship
Our scholarship program provides life-changing opportunities for deserving students and focuses focusing on fields vital to the community such as agriculture, education, healthcare, and vocational trades to fill critical gaps in services.

Infrastructure Development
In Culion, the Sitio Pinutukan watershed is a lifeline for drinking and farming, but erosion, deforestation, and extreme weather threaten its future. WE Foundation is raising funds to protect this vital resource and ensure clean water for generations.

Healthcare Access
In 2026 we are launching our major project for this year: building the Cabulihan Clinic that can serve as a home base for medical and dental missions, future community health support, and a future service site for scholars who will return after completing their education in healthcare fields.

Livelihood Support
For many families in Culion, fishing is more than a livelihood; it’s a lifeline. By building dried fish processing facility, we’ll be giving these families the tools to secure stable income and grow their local economy.
