Scholarship
In collaboration with The Self-Reliant Farm, we sponsor scholars from junior high to college level, covering tuition, living expenses, and practical support so they can focus on achieving their dreams.
Our college and vocational scholarship program focuses on fields like education, agriculture, healthcare, and vocational trades that are vital to the community.
Scholars commit to returning home after graduation to serve their communities and to sponsor new scholars—creating an ongoing cycle of empowerment, self-reliance, and lasting positive change.

Access to Technology
Technology opens doors to education, opportunity, and connection.
We donated Starlink internet to our farm-based scholarship hub, giving scholars reliable connectivity for the first time. We also supplied Apple desktop computers for use on the farm and provided laptops and tablets to scholars heading to college.
These tools are helping students stay connected, complete schoolwork, and succeed in their education.

Mariel de Luna
I come from a family that has faced many hardships, but those struggles have only strengthened my desire to keep learning and build a better future. As a young woman from Culion with Tagbanwa roots, I dream of using education to rise above poverty, uplift my community, and help empower other young people to believe that their future can be bigger than the limits around them.

Niña Guimba
Growing up in Culion, I saw how difficult it was for many people to reach medical care in time. Those experiences shaped my dream of becoming a doctor, and with hard work, faith, and the support of my scholarship, I am now studying nursing so I can one day return and serve the community that raised me.

Hannah Guimba
I was raised in Culion by my grandparents and grew up knowing how much strength can come from a simple, humble life. My dream is to begin my journey in nursing and one day become a dentist so I can return to serve indigenous and underserved communities like my own, where too many children live with pain simply because care is out of reach.

Bridging Education and Healthcare
The Nursing Scholarship Program supports nursing students from Culion, Palawan—many from katutubo (indigenous) communities—who face serious barriers to higher education. Even in state (public) schools, the annual cost of about ₱250,000 (about $4,000) is unrealistic for many families in a community where stable income is limited. The scholars return to serve the community and strengthens long-term healthcare access as we advance the Cabulihan clinic project.

Invest in a Legacy of Learning
The Scholarship program empowers students, mostly katutubo, from disadvantaged backgrounds to escape poverty through education and service. Each graduate commits to returning to Culion to serve their community. Scholars also pledge to sponsor two future scholars, ensuring the program’s benefits expand across generations.
