Donor Advised Funds

Step 1: Contact Your DAF Sponsor

Reach out to the financial institution or community foundation that manages your donor-advised fund. Common DAF sponsors include Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, and many local community foundations.

Step 2: Initiate a Grant Recommendation

Inform your DAF sponsor that you would like to recommend a grant to WE Foundation. You will need to provide some key details about our organization:

Step 3: Specify the Amount and Purpose

Decide on the amount you wish to donate. If you have a specific project or initiative you would like to support, please specify this with your grant recommendation under Designation. Otherwise, your funds will be used where they are most needed.

Step 4: Confirm and Track Your Donation

After you submit your grant recommendation, the DAF sponsor will handle the disbursement of funds according to your direction. It may take a few days to a few weeks for WE Foundation to receive the funds. We recommend keeping in touch with your DAF sponsor to track the progress of your grant.
