A Timely Christmas Gift for Culion’s Schoolchildren

WE Foundation would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Honesto Lucero for his generous donation of school bags and school supplies for the children of Culion.

Through his initiative and coordination with his alma mater, Aquinas School of San Agustin, Honesto and his family organized the collection, donation, and shipment of school bags filled with essential supplies to our partner community. The items arrived in Culion just in time for Christmas distribution.

Access to basic school materials remains a real challenge for many families in remote areas. A new school bag and complete set of supplies may seem simple, but for students in underserved communities, these resources are truly needed. They help students come to school prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

The distribution was met with gratitude and enthusiasm from the children and their families. We are thankful for partners like Honesto who continue to support our mission of expanding educational opportunities in rural communities.
